Comfort

There is a difference between a ship being able to cross oceans and that voyage being enjoyable. At Liquid Management Yachts we believe passagemaking should be enjoyable and comfortable. We went through great lengths to create a comfortable sea state via pitch, roll, and yaw control.

“Pitch” is the first movement that interferes with comfort. Pitch is the result of waves pushing the nose of the ship up or down. From wave crest to wave trough. As the LM65h is designed to move through the waves, instead of bob over them, a more comfortable ride is established. The ship’s revolutionary underwater design helps minimize pitch and thus realizes a far better crew comfort.

“Roll” is the second movement that deteriorates comfort. It is the result of waves swaying or swinging the ship from to the left or right. In the LM65h, the ship’s roll movement is controlled via a state-of-the-art electric stabilizer system. This allows for faster reaction times and better roll dampening. Less roll movement helps realize a better crew comfort and prevents sea sickness.

“Yaw” is the third ship movement that interferes with comfort. It is the result of the waves pushing the ship’s nose to the left or right. Of the straight line, so to speak. The LM65h’s innovative nose design, in combination with a long skeg, helps the ship track better than other ships. This results in less movement and further improves sea comfort.
